Before I took my first cruise, I had absolutely no idea that people filmed and compiled ‘ship tours’ for YouTube - I hadn’t found one before jumping onto my first ship! However, a few cruises in, I started watching these tours, and it was absolutely fascinating to see what different people would show me from ships that I was planning to cruise on. So, what’s the benefit to checking out ship tours?

Well, you could use tours to help you decide which ship you’d most like to try in the future. I don’t use them for this reason, or I’d spend all day (and night) watching them! Instead, I use tours to help me plan what I’m going to do onboard, and where I’d like to spend my time, after I’ve booked a cruise.
