Carnival Cruise Line

Are you ready to explore a HUGE cruise line with me? Well, if so, you’re in the right place - it’s time to talk Carnival Cruise Line! This cruise line is a brand within the huge Carnival Corporation group, and they currently run an operation of 27 ships all over the world. Within this fleet, you’ll find 9 different ship classes, and here they are!

  • Fantasy Class: Carnival Elation (launched 1998), Carnival Paradise (launched 1998)

  • Spirit Class: Carnival Spirit (launched 2001), Carnival Pride (launched 2002), Carnival Legend (launched 2002), Carnival Miracle (launched 2004), Carnival Luminosa (launched 2022)

  • Excel Class: Carnival Mardi Gras (launched 2021), Carnival Celebration (launched 2022), Carnival Jubilee (launched 2023)

  • Venice Class: Carnival Venezia (launched 2023), Carnival Firenze (launched 2024)

You get the picture - there are a LOT of Carnival Cruise Line ships. It’s important that you do some research before selecting which of these ships you want to take your vacation on. The reason for this? You’re looking at a huge list consisting of older ships, newer ships, smaller ships, larger ships, and everything in between. If you’re looking for a traditional-feeling cruise on a small ship, you’re probably going to be surprised when you board your huge Excel-class cruise ship. In the same vain, if you want a mega ship vacation, you don’t want to discover you’ve accidentally booked a Fantasy class cruise - be careful! However, that’s what sites like this one are here for, so let me share my experiences from my time with Carnival (and so many other cruise lines) to hopefully help you to make an informed decision!
